Cougar Behavior

Cougars are solitary animals, coming together only to mate. Cougars are ambush predators, and are most active at dusk and dawn. They feed mostly on deer and other mammals like beavers, porcupines, or mice. Cougars have an acute sense of sight. Hearing is good too, but smell is not very developed.
